In the illustrated poetry collection PLUIMGEWICHT, four artists search for the tension between image and word. Illustrators Charlotte Severeyns and Dieter De Schutter and writers Vincent Van Meenen and Line Pillet tell the story of a tragedy in which thousands of snow geese in Montana (US) were killed by fate.
From May 12, you can admire the sketches and original prints of this visual poem in our multidisciplinary showroom at GAST (e) at the Oude Beurs. The collection of poetry itself will of course also be for sale. PLUIMGEWICHT is the first phase of the art project PERSPECTIEF – a collaboration between KOP and Het Debuut.
Vernissage: May 12, 18h – 24h
Open till May 28, on Saturdays and Sundays from 12h till 18h.

// PERSPECTIEF // HET DEBUUT //
Het Debuut is a young collective that offers professionalizing artists presentation opportunities. They unite various makers within the contemporary artistic context. Commissioned by KOP and based on the philosophy that there are still things that make each other possible, they are organizing the art project PERSPECTIEF.
PLUIMGEWICHT is the first stage of PERSPECTIEF. In the next stage, four new makers give voice to and depict this visual poem.
